To enhance the analytical skills and economic reasoning, in line with market needs, MPhil Economics program is being offered under the faculty of Business & Commerce of GIFT University, Gujranwala. The focus of the MPhil Economics program is to develop economic reasoning and analytical skills to fulfill the industrial as well as corporate sector need of understanding the advance level economic decisions and planning. The two years program consists of 30 credit hours all together, offering course work. In the first year of the degree, students will take 2 elective courses along with the core area of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics, for a thorough and in-depth knowledge of economics. In second year, students will register themselves in additional elective and core courses for a comprehensive command over the essentials of the degree.
